Born in Jamestown, New York, Greg Samata is a designer, independent film director and one of the principals in the office SamataMason, a multi-faceted design firm in Dundee, Illinois and Vancouver, BC. Greg and his partners run Noisemaker Films, an independent film production company. His first film, Island, premiered at the Arizona International Film Festival in 2003.
