The Last Dance

One Sunday a month for three hours in the early afternoon, a group of senior citizens gather at the Riverside Club in Elgin, Illinois. With a band comprised of their peers providing live music from the 30's and 40's, these seniors, some well into their nineties, participate in the one activity that they've enjoyed since they were young - dancing.

THE LAST DANCE offers a brief glimpse into the lives of some of these senior citizens. From the musicians who love entertaining their friends with their music to the dancers, some of whom have met at the Riverside Club after their spouses have passed away, fallen in love, and have married vowing to spend their remaining years together.

These seniors are proof that growing old doesn't have to be a death sentence. It is a gift that should be enjoyed to its fullest.
